Adult, Family and Young Adult Trips

Responding to popular demand, World Horizons has established adult, family and young adult (18-22) trips. The following are brief descriptions of each trip, which ones are community service and which are not. For more informtion about these, please call World Horizons at 800-262-5874.

Young Adult Trip to Ecuador

Join the World Horizons group as we visit Cayambe, Ecuador, located in the northern part of the country, known worldwide for its rose production. Participants will travel into the Andes Mountains to repair and paint school buildings of the native Ecuadorians. On the weekend, the group will travel and see the sights, for example Otavalo, where there is a famous craft market on Saturdays.

Adult Photography Trip

Photograph fabulous scenery and learn the art of using natural light to do portraits while traveling to Iceland and the northern part of England. We will stay in Reykjavik and spend a few days travelling the "Golden Circle", visiting the glaciers and swimming in the Blue Lagoon, as well as photographing the otherworldly scenery. We will then fly on to England and visit the County of Yorkshire in the northern part of England and venture to the east coast to visit Robin Hood's Bay, Whitby and Scarborough.
