Join us on this trip to Israel to work with children in Afula at the Emunah center. Afula is located just south of Nazareth. Students will help the regular staff as assistant counselors helping with various residential and day care programs. Volunteer work may include helping with the daily routine, accompanying children on field trips to the pool and other activities and arranging games and sports activities. In addition students may also help in the kitchen, laundry and other maintenance tasks, i.e. painting buildings and other minor repairs.
Participants will be housed either at the Emunah center or in nearby housing. Students live together as a family group, cooking for each other and keeping the living quarters clean.
